One of the least understood areas of law is Products Liability. If a product is defectively designed or manufactured and a person suffers injury due to that defect, the maker of the product should be held accountable.

Workers can fall victim to defective machines, which are manufactured without a guard to keep hands and feet away from moving parts. Medical products (i.e., breast implants) and motor vehicles (SUV rollover propensity) are often the cause of products liability injuries.
